The elction re-run in
Ukraine gives the West's poisoned and pock-marked darling Yushchenko
more than half of the popular vote. His orange-wearing suppporters
rejoice in Kiev. Yanukovych, Putin's pet in the blue corner, despite
much support from the eastern part of the country (and Russia)
does not admit defeat. Is this a sunny dawn for Ukraine's freedom
and democracy? Is it the end for Yanukovych? Or will the east
secede?
